    I really enjoyed the web design assignment and being able to personalize my own space! Although I had never done it before, I was able to figure everything out and learn a few new skills along the way. I had never created a virtual calendar before, and was pleased with how organized and clear I was able to make it. This new skill could definitely be put to use in my daily life! I often find that my planner is messy and hard to follow; using a digital calendar could reduce the mess and keep my tasks organized. I also learned how to better use space and create an aesthetically pleasing and decluttered product. These skills can be useful not just when creating websites, but any online space. In our use with Diigo, I have noticed that it could be a very useful tool while researching. It's highlighting a sticky note features make it easy to keep your annotations with the information you got them from. Diigo is also very useful when working with others; I am always able to see and review my classmate's work very easily. This feature could be very useful when team members aren't able to meet at the same time, and need a place to share information/have conversations.

Technology is always developing, and it is teachers' responsibility to keep up with these changes. New technologies can make teaching easier as well as make learning easier for students. A site that you could use to stay informed on technology trends is the ISTE website. The International Society for Technology in Education's (ISTE) website is updated very frequently. They offer tons of articles about technology's growth in the education world; their newest uploads discuss online learning and media literacy.
